Let’s start with the Apres-Ski Hoodie – it’s soft and looks and feel so luxe! My daughter has one too and wears it to high school so you know that it’s one for the ages. I love that the sleeves have holes for my thumbs which means they are long!! I am wearing a medium and my daughter has the small. I didn’t want it tight, for me it looks better when I am wearing yoga pants. This is the perfect addition to my athleisure wardrobe. Plus it keeps me warm and cute.

Next is the Luxe Turtleneck. Super soft, the turtleneck is lose around the neck and this cream has a bit of grey running through it. You can dress it up or wear it with jeans. I had to pair it with my Button Fly Skinny jeans and then a python boot. For me this is a perfect fall pairing. Tall girls these jeans are wonderful! I am wearing a size 8 an there is lots of stretch. I will keep you posted to see if I should have went down a size because of the stretch.

Lastly I am wearing the Highland Cardigan.

I like the knit design of this cardigan and it’s my first fair isle cardigan. It’s a classic cardigan that looks and wears well. I love the bell sleeve, that makes it interesting without straying from the classic feel.
Now I need to know…which is your favourite piece?

You can also wear with a pencil skirt or over a dress. Taking a casual look and giving it some flair.
The back is also done in a different blue and with wider ribbing. A great style element that brings another unexpected design element. Every time I wear this jacket I hear Lil Wayne (but in a PG version) rapping:
“I hate to see her go,
but I like to watch her leave.”
Probably not what he had in mind.
I wore this downtown Toronto during the Toronto International Film Festival while I was heading to gifting lounges and media events. A few fellow bloggers asked about the cardigan and I was able to educate them on cabi. Letting them know they can shop online or at a Shopping Experience with their own cabi stylist.
Hoping if you buy this cardigan you like it as much as I do.

When cabi asked me to join their team of ambassadors I immediately said yes. I started by selecting my favourite pieces and my mind was swirling with style ideas. With all the items I selected I’ll be posting all week with ideas and showcasing the Fall Collection. To check out the entire Fall Collection you can click here.
Python for the Win!
I decided to start my cabi Ambassadorship with python prints. In the photos I’m wearing the Python Blazer, Serpentine Blouse and the
Cinch Skinny jeans. I decided to double down on the python print and paired the blazer with the blouse. The patterns compliment each other and play with this popular animal print. Plus it’s a fun way to do the unexpected – wearing animal print twice.

The black button detail doesn’t take away from the pattern. This blazer has stretch so don’t worry about it being too tight. That also means it’s light weight and you can wear a cami or a thin knit underneath. I am wearing a size 6 in the blazer and small in the blouse. In the future I will size up in the blouse to a medium. You can’t tell but I am busty and the blouse is a bit snug across my chest and back in a small.

The Cinch Jeans are high waisted and sit on my natural waist. They are a perfect ankle length on my six foot frame. I don’t need to get them altered in any way and am wearing a size 8. I may try a size 6 in denim next time because these jeans have a lot of stretch. They are a great black wash and can be easily dressed up or down.

Stay tuned for more. Until then check out the entire cabi collection here and for great style ideas here.

The day I was at Linea Intima I also received a bra-fitting – Linea Intima is known for its signature bra-fitting technique. I cannot stress how important it is to get properly fitted and then try on different styles. You may fluctuate sizes depending on the styles you prefer and every style may not be the best for you. Linea Intima has five Ontario locations and once you’ve been fitted you can also shop online .
]]>I’m bringing you my results.
A few weeks ago I was at an event and I was talking to another blogger who was also using Vivier. She took me aside and whispered “Does Vivier work for you?” I smiled and looked her in the eye and said “It does.” She smiled right back and said “It worked for me too.”
To recap I visited Edelstein Cosmetics (https://edelsteincosmetics.com) and met with Petra, a medical aesthetician (or my skin care guru) for my personalized skin care routine. While with Petra I learned that Vivier creates premium and innovative pharmaceutical-grade skin care products that are proven to target, moisturize and protect my skin because it is specifically tailored to care for my needs to deliver results. Plus it’s a Canadian company.

These are the products I am using:

Now going back to that conversation. Both of us were excited about how our skin felt and how the products were able to deliver on promises. The money that is spent on Vivier pharmaceutical grades items is worth it.
No photo can show how great my skin feels. It’s perfectly moisturized and Vivier products have been able to minimize the oiliness of my T-zone. No other skin care products have been able to do that. The dryness of my cheek area was also minimized. For me it was the combination of the Radiance Serum, TMR and Peptide CR Creme. They work great together. The Radiance Serum goes on very smoothly and I always feel my skin responding. It feels supple. I’ve also learned that it has a cult following. My producer swears by it and my girlfriends all know someone who swears by it. When I add the Peptide CR Creme my skin is perfectly moisturized and I feel like it’s glowing.
What I also learned is how important a toner is. Toners can help close pores and tighten cell gaps after cleansing, reducing the penetration of impurities and environmental contaminants into the skin. It can even protect and remove chlorine and minerals present in tap water. It helps clean your skin and preps it for serums and moisturizers. It’s that one item that was missing in my old routine but has become essential now.
Another key product for me is the Vivier SPF 30 Lotion. It’s been a skin saver when wearing it in the sun and helped to fight the harmful affects of the sun. There hasn’t been a day I haven’t used the SPF 30 Lotion and it hasn’t affected my makeup application at all.
I will continue to use Vivier products and am happy that I can recommend them to friends and all my readers. If you are interested in learning more about Vivier, visit www.vivierskin.com, where you can also find a clinic near you to book a consult and receive your own customized regime.

Now I don’t usually write about product launches on the blog. Those I leave on my Instagram Stories but I have become a huge fan of Kerastase products. They had a wonderful lunch to launch their newest product range Blond Absolu.
“Blond Absolu six products, combine in customized rituals to BATHE, TREATand TEXTURIZE blonde hair. Hair is deeply restored. The powerfull ultraviolet neutralizers continuously eliminate brassiness, while illuminating your blonde.”

This is a very comprehensive line that offers all blonde consumers choice.

The Blond Absolu line has also impressed me because it is customizable due to all the choice. The texture, colour and tones of our hair is all different so we need to have options to ensure our blonde is the best blonde for us.

Lastly I just wanted to share some of my favourite images from the event. It was great to learn about a new line from a brand I love.

The results were pretty impressive – my baby hairs grew and those were always an annoyance to me, my hair was even thicker (my hairdresser noticed that right away) and the texture of my hair was smoother. I was happy with the results and I noticed them within a few months. Then I used the Gorgeous Growth Densifying line – shampoo, conditioner and serum. My hair was even thicker. When I curled it after using the line you could visibly tell the difference. Photos didn’t lie and I always recommend the product to people who are looking for a product that will help with thicker hair.
Then I stopped taking the product. I don’t know why.
In the mean time I was dying my hair blonde – using a bleaching agent. It doesn’t matter how healthy and great your hair is this will cause breakage and damage. Plus I am over 40 and the damage is exacerbated. My hairdresser told me last year that she recommended I stop with the bleach and do a less harmful colouring process. I listened to hear and my hair is healthier but the ends are damaged. I have also decided to grow my hair.

Everything was great until I realized my hair isn’t growing as quickly as before and my damaged ends are not repairing as quickly as I would have hoped. My hair has plateaued. So what did I do?
I went back to Viviscal.
I’ve been taking the pills twice daily and using the Gorgeous Growth Densifying line. I’ve felt a difference, my hair already feels thicker.
If you are experienced hair plateauing, shedding or just have thin hair I would recommend you try Viviscal.

You can find Viviscal at Shoppers Drug Mart or www.viviscal.ca

My looks consist of snakeskin and suiting.

This iteration of animal print is a perfect neutral for your spring office wardrobe or can be styled head to toe like I did with this blouse and skirt combination. I topped it off with the perfect blazer.

Or if you like your prints in small doses I took the snakeskin blouse and paired it with black pants and the same blazer as above.
